PDemon Shade

When out of combat, Evelynn enters Demon Shade. Demon Shade heals Evelynn when she is low on health and grants Camouflage after level 6.

Use it well

Read the effect and its conditions, then practise it alone. Build your sequence around the effect you can reliably reproduce.

QHate Spike

Evelynn strikes out with her Lasher, dealing damage to the first unit hit. Then, Evelynn can shoot a line of spikes at nearby foes a few times.

Use it well

Practise the hit area and target conditions first. Do not spend the rest of your rotation automatically when the opening damage misses.

WAllure

Evelynn curses her target, causing her next attack or spell after a delay to charm her target and reduce their magic resist.

Use it well

Read the effect and its conditions, then practise it alone. Build your sequence around the effect you can reliably reproduce.

EWhiplash

Evelynn whips her target with her Lasher, dealing damage. She then gains Move Speed for a short duration.

Use it well

Practise the hit area and target conditions first. Do not spend the rest of your rotation automatically when the opening damage misses.

RLast Caress

Evelynn briefly goes untargetable and decimates the area in front of her before warping backwards a long distance.

Use it well

Read the effect and its conditions, then practise it alone. Build your sequence around the effect you can reliably reproduce.

Evelynn combos: execution and timing

AA = basic attack · EAA = empowered attack · 1/2/3 = cast stage. Follow the order, not instant key presses.

Include Last Caress in the rotation

  1. Hate SpikeQ
  2. Hate SpikeQ
  3. WhiplashE
  4. Hate SpikeQ
  5. Last CaressR

With Evelynn, start with Hate Spike, then continue through Hate Spike → Whiplash → Hate Spike → Last Caress. Choose a position that lets Hate Spike work without losing your retreat. Check the next target’s range before following the sequence.

Mistake to avoid : Do not turn a safe exchange into an unsupported chase just to finish the displayed sequence.

Repeated spells may need a recast window or a cooldown; check that the next activation is actually available.

Include Last Caress in the rotation

  1. AllureW
  2. Hate SpikeQ
  3. Hate SpikeQ
  4. WhiplashE
  5. Hate SpikeQ
  6. AA
  7. Hate SpikeQ
  8. Last CaressR

With Evelynn, start with Allure, then continue through Hate Spike → Hate Spike → Whiplash → Hate Spike → Basic attack → Hate Spike → Last Caress. Read the resource or charge indicator for Allure before starting. Compare this sequence with and without the required preparation.

Mistake to avoid : Do not assume the same damage, control or follow-up when the required indicator is missing.

Repeated spells may need a recast window or a cooldown; check that the next activation is actually available.

Game plan by role

Evelynn · Jungle
Early game

Practise a repeatable clear before adding risky invades. Check nearby lane positions before entering the river or committing to a gank.

Mid game

Prepare objectives by resetting, checking vision and moving with nearby allies. Avoid starting an objective solely because it has spawned.

Teamfights

Keep Smite and your escape plan in mind around contested objectives. Choose between engaging, covering a carry and keeping access to the objective.

Before your next fight, check: Hate Spike · Last Caress · Combos

06

Matchup preparation

Compare opponents in the build for the role you are actually playing. Then check their key control, escape and defensive spells before choosing your trade.

07

Practice checklist

  1. Cast each ability alone and identify its range, target conditions and stopping point.
  2. Practise the first sequence slowly. Repeat it while moving, without skipping the conditions shown on its card.
  3. After each attempt, identify the spell you would still have available to defend or retreat.
