Tools to play around

What can go wrong

  • Boomerang BladePractise the hit area and target conditions first. Do not spend the rest of your rotation automatically when the opening damage misses.
  • Spell ShieldRead the effect and its conditions, then practise it alone. Build your sequence around the effect you can reliably reproduce.
  • A completed combo is only useful when your position, resources and follow-up are safe.

Abilities & tips

Open an ability to read its effect and a practical use tip.

PFleet of Foot

Sivir gains a short burst of Move Speed when she attacks an enemy champion.

Use it well

Read the effect and its conditions, then practise it alone. Build your sequence around the effect you can reliably reproduce.

QBoomerang Blade

Sivir hurls her crossblade like a boomerang, dealing damage each way.

Use it well

Practise the hit area and target conditions first. Do not spend the rest of your rotation automatically when the opening damage misses.

WRicochet

Sivir's next few basic attacks gain additional attack speed and bounce to nearby targets, dealing reduced damage while bouncing.

Use it well

ESpell Shield

Creates a magical barrier that blocks a single enemy ability cast on Sivir. She receives health and a burst of movement speed if a spell is blocked.

Use it well

Read the effect and its conditions, then practise it alone. Build your sequence around the effect you can reliably reproduce.

ROn The Hunt

Sivir leads her allies in battle, granting them a surge of Move Speed for a period of time. In addition, Sivir's attacks reduce her spell cooldowns.

Use it well

Read the effect and its conditions, then practise it alone. Build your sequence around the effect you can reliably reproduce.

Sivir combos: execution and timing

AA = basic attack · EAA = empowered attack · 1/2/3 = cast stage. Follow the order, not instant key presses.

Spell and attack trade: Boomerang Blade

  1. AA
  2. Boomerang BladeQ

With Sivir, start with Basic attack, then continue through Boomerang Blade. Choose a position that lets Boomerang Blade work without losing your retreat. Check the next target’s range before following the sequence.

Mistake to avoid : Do not turn a safe exchange into an unsupported chase just to finish the displayed sequence.

Spell and attack trade: Ricochet

  1. AA
  2. RicochetW
  3. AA
  4. Boomerang BladeQ

With Sivir, start with Basic attack, then continue through Ricochet → Basic attack → Boomerang Blade. Let the first attack hit, then use Ricochet to reset the attack timer. Practise the gap between both attacks rather than cancelling the first.

Mistake to avoid : Moving or casting too early can remove the attack you were trying to fit between spells.

Game plan by role

Sivir · Bot
Early game

Coordinate trades with your support and keep last hits consistent. Stand where you can attack without stepping into both enemy players’ threat range.

Mid game

Collect safe farm while staying close enough to join your team. Check the map before crossing an exposed side lane for one more wave.

Teamfights

Keep dealing damage to an accessible target while tracking enemy engage tools. A safer sustained position is often better than chasing a distant carry.

06

Matchup preparation

Compare opponents in the build for the role you are actually playing. Then check their key control, escape and defensive spells before choosing your trade.

07

Practice checklist

  1. Cast each ability alone and identify its range, target conditions and stopping point.
  2. Practise the first sequence slowly. Repeat it while moving, without skipping the conditions shown on its card.
  3. After each attempt, identify the spell you would still have available to defend or retreat.
